Submitting Opportunities
We're focused specifically on college students, recent graduates, and early-career performers. Our goal is to simplify the opportunity search by delivering curated theatre opportunities directly to your inbox, helping you spend less time searching and more time preparing.
You can search on your own, but it takes time. We organize and curate opportunities from a variety of sources into one place, making it easier to stay informed without checking dozens of websites and social media accounts.
No, we are not a talent agency. We do not represent performers, submit actors for roles, negotiate contracts, or earn commission from bookings.
Instead, NGTN is a membership-based opportunity network that researches, curates, and delivers theatre opportunities, including auditions, summer stock, internships, apprenticeships, and other early-career experiences. Our goal is to help you spend less time searching and more time preparing for your next opportunity.
Why is that a benefit? Because our focus is on helping you discover opportunities, not representing a select roster of clients. Any member can receive curated opportunities based on their preferences, whether or not they have an agent. If you already have representation, NGTN can complement your career by helping you stay informed about additional opportunities. If you don't have an agent yet, NGTN is a resource to help you build experience, strengthen your résumé, and continue growing as a performer.
NGTN is designed for college theatre students, musical theatre students, acting students, recent graduates, and early-career performers looking to build experience and discover new opportunities throughout the United States.
Getting started is simple:Become a member.Complete your performer profile. Here you select the types of opportunities you'd like to receive and choose the U.S. regions you're interested in.Receive curated theatre opportunities directly to your inbox.Submit directly to the organizations that interest you.
No. NGTN will only send you emails containing all the important information members need before deciding to audition. Members receive curated opportunities throughout the year as organizations announce auditions and applications. During peak audition seasons, emails may be sent more frequently due to the higher volume of available opportunities.
Peak audition season for college students tends to be from October to April.
NGTN also provides a list of third-party organizations that publicly state they accept submissions outside their general audition dates.
Our team researches opportunities from a variety of trusted sources, including theatre companies, regional theatres, official organization websites, university programs, and other reputable industry resources. Every opportunity is carefully reviewed before being shared with members.
