A Note from the Founders

We started NextGen Talent Network because we know how overwhelming it can be to navigate the theatre industry without representation. Our goal is to help talented performers spend less time searching and more time building their careers. Think of us as the team helping you stay ahead until you have a team of your own.

We're excited to be part of your journey and can't wait to see where it takes you.

Hannah Pogemiller is one of the co-founders of NextGen Talent Network, as well as a recent graduate of Dean College. At Dean, she earned her bachelor's degree in Arts and Entertainment Management and Theatre. She started her love for theatre as a performer, which grew into a recent discovery of her love of directing and producing. She takes pride in being one of the creators of The Guild: New Theatre Works, a student-run organization that allows students to produce their original work. In her time with The Guild, she helped 27 new scripts perform in front of an audience, along with creating the Max Peters 24 Hour Play Festival. She is now working towards making her love for new works become her future through producing, directing, performing, and managing.

Hannah entered the performing arts industry through dance. She moved from toddler classes to competitive dance teams, finding her love of musical theatre. She pivoted her interest to musicals, which is where she caught the Broadway bug. Through theatre extracurriculars, she had been appointed to leadership positions amongst her peers, which is how she fell in love with the work behind the scenes and the creative process.

Hannah's favorite part of performing arts is watching others fall in love with theatre. She hopes that her work, even beyond NGTN, will promote future artists to spread love for the arts. Hannah fell in love with making opportunities for performers, which makes NGTN her next project to continue that passion.

Stephanie Stanton

Stephanie Stanton is one of the co-founders of NextGen Talent Network, as well as a performer and creative artist who focuses on seeking out and providing work and performance opportunities for other artists. Stephanie is entering her senior year at Dean College, where she is pursuing her BFA in Musical Theatre. At Dean, she is the current President (and founding Secretary) of The Guild: New Theatre Works, an organization that focuses on providing opportunities for students within original works of theatre. She has been performing since she was little, starting with toddler tap and ballet and the annual Christmas pageant, and continuing in middle school at a dance studio and a theatre studio. Doing both dance and theatre, she also played flute in her school's band from fourth grade until she graduated, surrounding herself in music and art for most of her time in school. She believes that music and art are so important to human connection, as it surrounds us all every day, whether we realize it or not, and she is glad to be promoting opportunities that foster this connection.

Growing up on the South Shore of Massachusetts, Stephanie has loved seeing the amount of quality theatre that exists outside of New York City, and she hopes to help others find this same art in their own corners of the country. Her work in college thus far has grown her passion for providing other students with arts opportunities, and NextGen is exactly how she wants to continue with this passion.
